Cardful

Support

Email keys@cardful.xyz and a person will read it. Most things are answered the same day.

Pro

I paid and Pro isn't on. Pro goes on the email address you paid with. Sign in at cardful.xyz, open Settings › Account and check which address you are signed in with — it has to be the same one. If it is and Pro still shows as Free, open the extension's popup again (it re-checks every time it opens). Still nothing after ten minutes? Email us with the address you paid with.

New computer. Sign in with the same email. There is no key to copy and no device limit.

Renewal. Stripe charges the card every month or every year, whichever you chose, and Pro carries on by itself. There is nothing to do.

Billing

Cancel, switch between monthly and yearly, or change your card: sign in at cardful.xyz, open Settings › Account, and press Manage subscription. Stripe emails a sign-in link to the address you paid with. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the month or year you have paid for runs to its end. You can also just email us and we will do it.

Refund: ask within 30 days of a charge and we will refund it. No reason needed.

Paid with a different email from the one you sign in with. Either sign in with the address you paid with, or tell us both and we will move Pro across.

The extension

A rate looks wrong. Tell us the card and the category. Rates are traced to a published issuer benefit rather than guessed, so a wrong one is a bug we want to fix — and every card shows when it was last confirmed.

A store is categorised wrong. You can fix it yourself: change the category in the popup or the overlay and it is remembered for that site. Tell us too and we will fix it for everybody.

A scan of my bank's offers page found nothing. Banks redesign their pages and the scanner has to be updated when they do. A scan that cannot read the page says so and changes nothing in your vault, rather than quietly emptying it. Let us know which bank.

My bank locked me out or keeps asking for a code after using bank sync. Sign in on your bank's own site to clear it, then turn off "Save my login" for that bank in the app's Bank sync screen. Cardful stops after one failed sign-in and does not try again by itself. A bank that asks for a code at every sign-in can only sync while you are there to type it.

How do I delete a saved bank login? In the app, open Settings, then Bank sync, and turn off "Save my login" for that bank. The login and the app's session with the bank are deleted at once. Signing out of Cardful deletes all of them.

An offer came by email and Cardful has not got it. Banks do not put every offer on the offers page, and a scan can only read what is on the page. Open your wallet at cardful.xyz, press Add manual offer on the Offers tab and paste the email's wording in: Cardful reads the value, the minimum spend and the expiry out of it and shows you what it understood — including anything it could not read — before you save. If it reads one wrong, Remove on its row takes it back out and you can paste it again. This is free.

Sync. Sign in with the same email on every device — the extension and cardful.xyz — and they share one wallet. Lost a device? Sign in on the new one and everything synced is there. If a device shows different cards from the others, check it is signed in as the same address: for the extension in your browser, Settings › This browser at cardful.xyz says which account it is signed in as, and offers to sign it in or switch it to yours. An edit made on the site reaches the extension in the same browser within a minute, and a scan there reaches the open site tab as soon as it has synced.

Sharing with a partner. Under Settings › Partner at cardful.xyz you can add your partner's cards — they don't need an account — and they are ranked with yours at every store, labelled as theirs. To share properly, invite them by email there: Cardful emails them from keys@cardful.xyz, and once they sign in with that address and press Accept, the cards you added for them go into their own wallet, you each see the other's cards and card offers, and one Pro covers you both. No email? Check spam, or press Email it again. Either of you can stop sharing at any time.
