Does grocery delivery earn grocery points?
Usually not. Of the 18 cards here with a year-round grocery bonus, one pays it on a delivery order too. A delivery service bills as itself, not as the supermarket it shopped at, and most issuers' grocery bonuses are written for the supermarket.
So the card that wins at the store is often not the card that wins at the door. For a delivery order, the best-paying card in the catalogue is American Express Blue Business Plus at $4.00 per $100, against American Express Gold Card in the aisle.

A rule limited to named services pays only at them, so it does not show in a ranking of delivery in general. Cardful knows which service a checkout is and applies it there.
